We are available as speakers for talks about our work. We welcome invitations from organised groups, such as Quilters Guild affiliated and similar art and craft organisations. Typically we would be willing to travel within a 30 mile radius of our base in Derby to give an evening presentation, or further afield at other times by special arrangement. INSPIRED BY COLOUR

Greta shows how colour has inspired my work with design ideas from many sources. These include the summer flower garden, fishing boats, the city of Barcelona, travels to North Africa, and South American textiles. Greta brings along her actual quilts, embroidered wall hangings and 3-D pieces.

TRAVELLERS TALES

Through her quilt making, Greta takes us on a journey to places such as Venice, Hong Kong, Morocco, Turkey and Spain, as well as local UK travel – places that have inspired the quilts that she brings.

TRAVELS WITH MY SKETCHBOOK

Mike’s sketchbooks are his primary artistic expression. As an Urban Sketcher, they are his way of showing the world as he sees it, one drawing at a time. An illustrated talk with an original sketchbook or two and even some of his own quilt designs to show. His anecdotal presentation is for artists, embroiderers and quilters, or indeed anyone who might be interested!
