Oakwood Quilters
This is an independent group, and is a non-vocational adult education class. Come and join a lively class of quiltmakers in a pleasant environment with car park nearby. Beginners are taught the basic skills of patchwork, appliqué and quilting. Returning learners are able to plan and develop their own work.
 
Oakwood Quilters meet at The Church On Oakwood, 378 Bishops Drive, Oakwood, Derbyshire DE21 2DF, UK .
Classes run on Tuesday mornings 10.00 am to 12.00 midday. Dates for autum term 2018 are:
September 11, 18, 25; October 2, 9, 23; November 6, 27; December 4. (9 classes).

NEW THURSDAY CLASS
As the above class is fully subscribed Greta is taking bookings for a new class on Thursday afternoons 1.00 to 3.00pm. Dates for autum term are:
September 13, 20, 27; October 4, 11, 25; November 29; December 6. Total 8 classes, which will run subject to sufficient enrolments. Fee £90.00 for the term.
A £10.00 deposit (refunded only if the class does not run) is required with your booking please, balance payable on the first class date.
Please book by MONDAY 03 SEPTEMBER so that we can finalise arrangements with the venue.

Living Threads
Classes are held in Risley Village Hall, Derbyshire. Greta teaches in the Summer School held during July/August, and for the winter programme at weekends from September to November.

Exeter Sewing
Workshop Title: Colour, tone and atmosphere: pictorial design for appliqué.
Format: One day practical workshop, split into two sections: paper cut and fabric cut.
